The 3500/45（176449-04） Transient Data Interface (TDL) is the interface between the 3500 ENCORE monitoring system and GE's

s System 1* condition monitoring and diagnostic software.The TDI combines the system monitor's capabilities of the system monitor with the data collection capabilities of the communications processor.

3500/45（176449-04） The TDL operates in the System Monitor slot of the 3500 ENCORE rack, and together with the Vibration Monitor (3500/42E) continuously collects steady state and transient waveform data and connects to the host software via Ethernet. Static data capture is standard on the TDI, but the use of optional channel-enabled disks will allow the TDI to capture dynamic or transient data. TDL has improved in several areas over previous communications processors and has integrated communications processor functionality into the 3500-anchor rack.
