Bently 3500/05-01-02-01-00-00 延伸电缆是连接探头和前置器的中间部件，其安装应保证在使用过程中不易受到损坏，信号传输正常可靠。本特利延伸电缆的外表是用聚四氟乙烯密封的，探头内部结构也已绝缘，但是延伸电缆和探头电缆的接头是与信号“地”相联接的，而且接头金属表面是裸露的。为了避免联接处和机壳接触以及加强其防护性，安装时将延伸电缆接头与探头高频接头用手拧紧联接好，然后将套管套在接头处，这样起到绝缘和保护作用。本特利延伸电缆有两种，一种是有带铠装，另一种是不带铠装两种，管道铺设采用不带铠装的延伸电缆。不能随意剪断过长的电缆或加长电缆，若是有过长的电缆，需要将其盘成直径不小于50mm的圆形用绑带扎紧后，用压片将其固定。在选型时，应保证延伸电缆的长度加探头电缆的长度之和，大于探头安装处到前置器安装处的距离，而且通常前置器都是集中安装在机器的同一侧。
